The war between the Supercharger vs. Twin-Turbo has kept the online and publishing automobile communities busy for more than a year. While most rumors favored on the side of supercharger, the rumors about the Mustang GT500 getting a twin-turbo engine just won’t cease to end, until now.

The 2014 Mustang GT500 that will roll out early in 2013 will surely get more than 550 horsepower, which then confirms that its competitor, Chevy’s Camaro ZL1 will get more than that too. Perhaps a 570 horsepower?

Now while the 2014 Mustang GT500 will be released early, the fully redesigned Mustang GT500 won’t see the light of the showrooms until 2014. Engine design, lightweight materials, and design overhaul specifications are still all speculations with lots of suggestions thrown by experts and enthusiasts alike.

All ears are tuned in for the showdown between the 2014 Mustang GT500 and Chevy’s Camaro ZL1 but for now, let’s be content that the former will still carry a supercharger.

Ford recently unveiled a high end version of the 2011 Mustang dubbed as the RTR. The package was developed in collaboration with Formula Drift Mustang GT driver, Vaughn Gittin Jr. and can now be availed through select dealers of Ford for $7,895.

The RTR features rear diffuser, aluminum spoiler, extensions for the side sill, and chin spoiler. Other highlights of the car include the distinctive stripes, 19-inch rims with FK-452 Falken tires, and an interior trim that includes custom shifter, RTR emblems, and exclusive mats.

The car manufacturer has not officially released the performance numbers of the Mustang RTR. They also tweaked the ECU of the car, installed an air filter that is high flow, and racing mufflers.

The goal of the project is to introduce a Mustang package that will appeal to the younger crowd and lovers of muscle cars as well. The package is currently offered for Mustang GTs with a V6 package due before the end of the year. The team of Michigan-based Classic Design Concepts builds the package.

Teasers of the RTR Carbon are being shown at the MustangRTR.com with a sticker price expected to hit $135,000. No details have been released for the RTR Carbon.

Shelby fixed a supercharged to the donated coupe and boosted the power of the DOHC V8 5.4L engine to 725hp. Their mechanics also tweaked the car with better radiator and intercooler, JBA exhaust system, and cold air intake.

The Ford tuner company also produced a tamer 630hp variant which uses Borla exhaust instead of the JBA.

Adjustable dampers were also installed to provide the ride with better handling. This came with stiffer springs, tougher anti-roll bar, and some tower brace for the front strut. The Super Snake deal also comes with customized 20-inch rims in combo with P-Zero Perelli rubbers.

More power isn’t enough if you can not stop the ride so Baer front calipers with six pistons were installed coupled with ventilated brake discs.

The Ford Mustang GT500 modified by Shelby is really an eye catcher with the modified hood and oversized vents and scoops. Not satisfied with the body work, Shellyby also gave the car some side sills, carbon fiber splitter, and rear window scoops.

A great car comes with a great price. The package starts at a hefty $29485 if you want the milder 630hp version. Shell out $33495 for the mean 725hp. Customers willing to take out the money from their pockets can have their cars modified starting this August.

When Ford officials said that the future of Ford Mustang will be revealed during the Detroit Auto Show, there is nothing to think about but the unveiling of the 2010 Ford Mustang GT500.

The new Ford Mustang GT 500 definitely will make a presence in the event knowing that it is the most powerful Mustang to come into production as of today.

The road bully will have a power plant similar to the 2008 GT500KR limited edition which sports a supercharged V8 5.4L engine that can leave any soul behind with its output of 540 horsepower at 6200 rpm and a torque of 510 lb-ft at 4500 rpm.

The beast beneath the hood is paired with a six speed manual transmission that utilizes organic material clutch that provides smoother shifting.

The new Ford Mustang GT500 besides its engine has the looks to boot. Its exterior highlights a wide open mouth devoted for its grille. The makeover consists of new sheets of metal making it look meaner on the road and it also utilizes big air extractors to keep the car cool.

The Shelby cobra emblem was moved to the right to give way to an air snorkel to lower the temperature of the intake of the V8 engine.

The new mustang is equipped with springs that are 13% stiffer in front and 7% at the rear. These are held in place with four Brembo calipers.

The electronic stability system was also upgraded to aid the driver gain more control of the vehicle. The car is electronically maxed to hit the 155 mph but the driver can switch the control system on-off or go for a sport mode. No 0-60 mph test results were released but are expected to be around 4.3 seconds like the older brother KR.

The Ford Mustang GT 500 is a car that evolved from the KR and according to designers becomes the ultimate Ford Mustang.

After this, the Model A was produced. Being one of the most popular ford models ever, it was greeted with a great enthusiasm after the 18 year reign of the Model T. It had a new style and was available in the station wagon design. It was available in four different colors, but not black.

After 1978 the design was redone into a larger version. Every Bronco came standard with four wheel drive and low range. The Bronco has gone through thirty years and has five different generations.
